the worst-case scenario survival handbook

the other night, i arrived early at a restaurant for a networking event.

basically, i was meeting up with other writers from agencies in the phoenix area.
so that's pretty cool, except for the part where i don't like to talk over people so sometimes when i'm in a chatty new group i tend to...just...not talk.

but that's another story.

right now i want to focus on the nifty little book i found in the waiting area:

with many enticing chapters...

and can you guess what this intriguing picture is depicting?

how to avoid getting struck by lightning!

and now you know.

and yes, i totally want this book for christmas!

ima wrestle me some alligators and win,
katilda

  4. Lightning position! I knew that one. (Thank you, Pioneer Trek.) Also, I'm strangely curious about how to deliver a baby in a taxi cab. Is there also a chapter on how to deliver a baby on a camel? Because what if you're touring Egypt in that situation.

  5. I will have you know that I am catching up on your blot while laying in bed and listening to my husband snore. Reading this just made me laugh out loud unexpectedly and cause him to startle awake and thrash a bit. That is all.

  6. I have been lurking around your blog entries for the past hour now - a most entertaining and amusing hour - and I HAD to comment on this post, because my friend bought me this book for Christmas! Not so sure that the part explaining how to hot-wire a car is a good idea, though...

    Love the blog xxx
